THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a highly strategic leadership role responsible for shaping the future of AI services and platforms, driving innovation, and helping organisations adopt AI at scale. You'll combine executive-level influence with deep technical involvement, building solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes for enterprise clients.
THE ROLE
Define and execute the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise AI services and platforms.
Lead the evolution of AI solutions from proof-of-concept initiatives into scalable, production-ready offerings.
Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and engineering best practices across AI and cloud-native environments.
Partner with clients, sales teams, and executive stakeholders to shape AI strategies and deliver business value.
Oversee the design of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based platforms leveraging modern AI technologies.
Provide technical leadership across AI/ML, GenAI, platform engineering, and software development teams.
Act as a senior thought leader, influencing roadmap decisions, innovation initiatives, and market positioning.
Build and develop high-performing engineering teams while fostering a culture of innovation and delivery excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Extensive leadership experience delivering AI, platform engineering, or innovation programmes within enterprise environments.
Proven track record building and scaling SaaS platforms, digital products, or reusable technology services.
Deep expertise across AI and GenAI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, orchestration frameworks, and machine learning platforms.
Strong cloud-native architecture experience across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Advanced knowledge of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and integration patterns.
Experience leading large cross-functional engineering organisations while remaining technically hands-on when required.
Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting enterprise sales engagements, solution design, and client strategy.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
